Turf Grown in Durham
We are based in Haswell Village in Country Durham and will travel across the North East of England. Our turf is of the highest quality and perfect for the North East environment. Our garden landscapers have the skills and expertise to lay your new turf correctly so that is lasts. We have six staff so we have the manpower to work on any project, no matter how large or small. All of our landscapers are CSCS carded and we are members of the constructionline scheme.
Our History
At Cathedral Turf, we have earned a reputation as experts in our field. We have been established for 25 years and throughout this time we have gained a very satisfied list of customers. We sub-contract soft landscaping works for the likes of; Taylor Wimpey North-East, Taylor Wimpey North-Yorkshire, Yuill Homes and Gentoo. Our site work consists of turfing, shrub planting and tree planting- because of this work we have established excellent relationships with many suppliers, including; Johnson’s of Wixley and Hill’s Nurseries.
With our roots bedded in the heart of the North-East we have now expanded our unparalleled knowledge into cultivated turf.
During our 25 years of land scaping we began to recognise a constant need for contract turfing works, so we decided to develop a sister company. This is known as Cathedral Turf. We now produce approximately 360,000 square meters (90 Acres) of turf per year. We also supply over 30 other landscaping companies and local authorities throughout the North-East.
